FRATERNITY DOOR

This artistic installation has been produced onto the door of a catholic school called Fraternity, in an urban environmement where contemporary creation is rare. In this neighborhood a large part of the population are muslims from Turquey and North Africa. The new entrance new design was created with a double function : to become a sign into the street as well as to be an visual opening for the parents who are waiting for their children, to be able to see the activities Inside the school. The actual photographies reproduced onto the glass were taken in the school and during various meeting between the artist F. Schein with the mothers.
This project has changed the value that the inhabitants have given to the school and it has improved the street and the neighborhood.
