For several years we have been working at the feasibility to create a large project ar the Luz subway stationin Sao Paulo. This city is the biggest and the most complex city of South America.

The project will be made with a large participation of hundreds of youngsters from the underprivileged neighborhood schools.

We have chosen this location in Sao Paulo because it is the perfect symbolic equivalent to the place de la Concorde in Paris where we have built our first Human Rights project. The Sao Paulo Metro is much in favor of this link and is supporting our project.

Like in our previous projects in capitals such as Lisbon, Paris, Stockholm, we wish this project to be of high design and human qualities.

The design includes geographical and historical facts about Sao Paulo city and the region. It explores the meaning of text of the Human Rights.

The educational part will take place in its production with the schools youngsters to whom workshops of concept creation and ceramic painting will be given.

 
This practice will professionalize some of these people and will give them a chance to acquire a know-how to develop as a practice.

The project has been accepted by the Rouanet Law in Brazilia Ministery of Culture in January 2009.
