Associação Danyann |
What is Danyann?
It was created in 1990. Its mission is to integrate at risk youth into the labor market, by offering them training administrative work, computer programs, silkscreen printing and english lessons.
Our goals is to integrate these youth into society, teach them a skill and stimulate them to study.
We also help them to develop behaviours and values such as: concentration, discipline, punctuality, respect for others, team spirit...

How does Danyann currently works?
We accept youngsters between 14 and 17 years of age, duly registered in a public school and sent to us by youth recovery institutions and organizations (such as Febem).
Training is provided in classes of about 10 youths, for a 3 months training periods. Our Training is ministered by 3 instructors in a workshop located in the Mooca district.
The revenue generated by the sales of objects manufactured by the pupils and the instructors finances for about 30% of the Association’s activities. |

Context
So it is because being in close and permanent contact with youngsters, NGOs can lead them through education, giving an opportunity for a better future, away from drugs and criminality.
There are organizations that reach specific targets such as women, the elderly, teenagers, etc. In this environment, “Associação Franco-Brasileira Danyann: Aprender e Evoluir” is a philantropic entity in expansion which, in partnership with Senai, helps needy teenagers in the city of São Paulo |
