......RECENTLY INSCRIRE WAS INVITED TO CHINA TO PRESENT ITS WORK

INSCRIRE & Françoise Schein, were invited to visit China, by the Foshan Ceramic Art Festival and by artist Zhang Yushan. We present Inscrire’s human rights public art works in subway stations and our participative works in cities.

Yushan and Francoise have met in 2006 around the publishing in China, of a first book about public art in ceramics. Their common goal is to create a subway station art project dedicated to a humanistic theme, either for Guangzhou or for

Changsha, Hunan.

The International Ceramic Festival opened with a typical Chinese event, including dragon dances, several discourses by important Chinese designers among which Yushan and F. Schein.

 

Schein was in Guangzhou,(Canton) and Changsha (Center of China). The discovery of the Chinese people was a joy : the Chinese people have been incredibly kind and caring to Françoise and took great care of her traveling arrangements

while she discovered the new contemporary and vivid China. ThenYushan brought Françoise to his native town Changsha

were two conferences were planned

A first conference took place at the Department of Furniture and design of the Central South University of Forestry & Technology

of the ESAM, the School of Fine Arts and Media where Schein teaches in Normandy, France

The students of the Department showed themselves very interested in participating in the making, with us, of a large scale participative art work about Human Rights and social content.

 

The other Conference was at the Institute of Fine Art of the Hunan Normal University

It seemed to us that most students and several teachers of the Department, would be totally open to create a work of art

about chinese philosophy and its retaltionships to human rights concepts. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

La maison Erasme innaugure un projet à partir de la Civilité puérile d'Erasme. Ce petit ouvrage, écrit en 1530 à l'intention des enfants, est l'un des textes fondateurs de notre civilisation occidentale ....

 

Droits humains et savoir vivre

 


Depuis 1789, 1948 et 2000 dates de 3 textes fondateurs sur les droits humains, deux siècles ont passé voyant les hommes  penchés sur les droits des uns vis à vis des autres tentant de mieux vivre ensemble en augmentant le nombre de thématiques liés aux droits des hommes et des femmes.

 Cependant, au vu de notre relative incapacité à nous entendre et nous respecter, ne devrions nous pas réactiver pour la jeunesse, la lecture du texte de Erasme sur la Civilité si actuel, si contemporain ?  Car ces droits modernes, envisagent t’ils vraiment le rapport à l’autre et le vrai-savoir vivre dont nous parlait Erasme?  Le texte de la Charte des Droits Fondamentaux Européens de 2000 envisage six grandes thématiques, celui de Erasme de 1522, en envisage sept : vers quelle société mènent t’ils chacun ?

8 MAI: CONFÉRENCE DE FRANCOISE SCHEIN À ERASME: HISTOIRES DE VIES

 

 

Françoise Schein has spoken at the Erasme House in Brussels

on the 6th of March 2010

L’artiste Françoise Schein, a vécu et travaillé à NY, après des études d’architecture à la Cambre. À partir du début des années 90, elle s’est installée à Paris où elle a commencé à travailler à parti du texte de la Déclaration des Droits de l’homme ; …un jour elle est partie à Rio de Janeiro où elle a rencontré une jeune fille, qui l’a adoptée. Elles sont rentrées ensemble en Europe. À partir de ce moment-là, toute sa vie de femme, mais aussi professionnelle, s’est modifiée.

Sa pratique artistique ne pouvait plus se contenter des musées, des galeries, ou des lieux publics. Il fallait désormais qu’elle envisage un nouveau rapport à la création, qui passait d’abord par la relation à l’autre. Elle a élaboré ainsi des œuvres collectives avec des enfants avec des habitants des villes, plutôt qu’avec leurs instances dirigeantes.

Sa conférence marque le début d’un projet qui mêle les textes de la Déclaration des droits de l’homme et de le ‘Civilité puérile’ d’Erasme

Our pedagogical tool is based on ASSOCIATION INSCRIRE's 26 previous projects about the European Charter of the Fundamental Rights, created since 2003

 

The "Inscrire l’Europe sur les Murs des Villes" is a series pedagogical workshops and perenial artworks created since 2003 and existing already in 26 european cities. Inscrire association has worked in collaboration with schools and local governments and the Eurpean Commission to create these perenial public artistic works in ceramics about the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. We have a specific pedagogical method to work with the students and prepare them to the creation of artworks related to the 50 articles of the Charter: the latest version is the Mind Mosaic booklet published by Gef.

 

Generation Europe Foundation has a network of 27 branches in the 27 european countries.

NEW YORK: WE ARE PREPARING A LARGE PROJECT FOR THE NYC REGION:

coming for 2011

To involve NYC’s young people in creating a series of 30 tiled murals, each depicting one of the 30 articles in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The 30 artworks will be installed on public city walls in strategically-selected locations, forming the “NYC Pathway to Human Rights”. We will work with 30 schools.

WHO THEY ARE :

 

Organization “IRSH” is a social-cultural, independent, non-political and non-profit organization licensed by Albanian Youth, Culture and Sports Ministry.
“IRSH” work on the development of civil society and promotion of Peace and Stability in Balkan.
We represent people which hope to be intellectuals like teachers, university professors, students, engineers, advocates, doctors, economists and different other groups or NGO.
The name of the NGO “Young Intellectuals, Hope” means that we are people that
HOPE to become good Intellectuals,
HOPE to change the Albanian reality
We believe in e progressed Albanian civil society.
Organization “IRSH” offers its partnership in developing different projects mainly in these fields: juridical and human rights, social-economical, on women rights protection, education, on free and independent information development, on art culture and sports.
Our future goal will be the extent of our relations and collaboration with foreign and local organizations and different institutions for a better fulfilment of our mission

HISTORY

During 1990-94 Albania has been transformed in a democratization process. But the people and particularly intellectuals were not participating very actively in the development of the society. So with the aim to promote the Albanian civil society, IRSH has been founded in 1994. This was been an initiative of students and professors of the “Luigj Gurakuqi” University, Shkoder. To be realistic the students expressed in the name of the NGO the word HOPE that has an overall meaning because these students:
HOPE to be, become good intellectuals.
HOPE to change the Albanian reality
HOPE to promote the promotion of the Albanian civil society.

 

            "IRSH" association was funded by a group of students and professors in April 1994 and licensed by the Albanian Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports in June 1994.
“IRSH” works in the development of civil society in Albania
            “IRSH“ is an NGO (with around 200 member’s who for the most part are volunteers) where individuals, groups, partner NGO-s as their profiles are grouped by section, each of which has a representative on the Board.
Currently IRSH has the following sections: ……:


1. Human rights department (which is more concentrated in Albanian legislation, advocacy, consulting trainings on human rights, promotion of women and children rights etc).
2. Social-economic department (which analyze social-economic problems of region.)
3. Education department (which is active in the education field as in the implementation of the conditions of the schools, organizing professional courses, trainings for the teachers etc)
4. Media department (which is preparing the “Identity” newspaper and keep contacts with journalist of the region promoting free and independent information)
5. Environmentalist department (which is dealing on environmental issue)
6. Youth department (which is dealing with Youth problems and activities)
7. Art-Culture and Sport department (which is dealing with Art-Culture and Sport activities)
